Duties will include school pick ups/drop offs, taking boys to clubs/play dates, helping with homework, cooking evening meal, children’s laundry/keeping rooms clean and tidy etc. When time allows also some family ironing/household tasks when boys are at school

Potential candidates ideally would have a recognised childcare qualification and have previous experience working as a private nanny, have a cheerful disposition, be kind, caring and patient. Dependable, reliable with good time keeping. Naturally tidy and organised

Will need to have a current DBS, ideally on the update service, paediatric first aid, public liability insurance and excellent references

Non smoker essential

Clean driving licence and own car suitable for transporting the children in, work mileage will be paid

There are 2 different options available:

1)3 days per week; before and after school and during school holidays:

Term time: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
7am – 8.45am
2pm – 7pm

Holidays (approx 12 weeks per year)
7am – 7pm

2) 2 full days per week, all year round

Tuesday and Wednesday
7am – 7pm

6 weeks paid holiday, ideally holiday to be taken at the same time as the family

This role is primarily a shared care role with mum, though occasional sole charge will be required. Key components of role are to assist as needed with the care of the children 2 years, 8 years & 9 years, including school runs, activity drop offs, play-dates, activities to stimulate toddler, helping with homework, including 11+ prep, helping with bedtime, guiding the housekeeper in meal planning, occasionally walking the dog. Some meal preparation, though this is usually taken care of by the full time housekeeper. One to one time with the toddler, coming up with age appropriate challenging play

Looking for a bright, loving, patient, fun & energetic person to join our family, we are a casual, flexible family & the children have lots of energy. Ideally we are looking for someone with a teaching background wanting to utilise their skills within a private family setting. Will need to be able to pivot between toddler play, arts & crafts, playing sport as well as homework, revision & music practice. the children are bright & curious & need to be appropriately challenged. Our nanny/governess should be a self starter who can work independently, be able to roll up their sleeves & be up to helping out as needed on any given day

There are also opportunities for international travel with the family, 1-3 weeks per year. Also for 4-6 weeks of each year we spend time at our holiday home in Lechlade, Cotswolds, it would be ideal if the candidate can either come & stay with us on an altered schedule, or potentially commute. This is not a deal breaker, so would be great but not essential

You will primarily work at the family’s home in Henley-on-Thames but may occasionally be asked to travel to London to the Head Office. You will provide full-time business/private support, household management, assisting senior management with events and helping ensuring the smooth running of the family home

You will need to be highly organised and discreet and be an excellent team player. The house is fully staffed so applicants with experience in staff management within a private setting is essential.
