Candidates must have relevant experience working for private clients, particularly focused on the production of vegetables & flowers. Formal qualifications are preferred, but not mandatory. The majority of the work will be within the walled garden but the candidates must also be willing to undertake “grounds-keeping” to include mowing, strimming, tree maintenance, hedge cutting etc

The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining the house to a high standard, including care of antique furniture & works of art. An eye for detail & good organisational skills are a must. There is a part-time cleaner to work with the Housekeeper. Additionally the Housekeeper will be required to assist the principal with cooking & is therefore expected to have a good level of culinary skill & undertake general kitchen duties efficiently

Both the Property Manager & the Housekeeper will be responsible for waiting on the table, general household duties & caring for the guests of the principal
